To honor this cheesy occasion, here are 5 delicious recipes that will make your taste buds sing.
The Ultimate Mac and Cheese:
This is not your average boxed mac and cheese. This recipe is pure cheesy delight, perfect for a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 230 g of elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of paprika (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and reserve.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in the milk. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

- 2 slices of bread of your choice (white, wheat, sourdough)
- 2 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, gruyere, havarti, etc.)
- Butter
Instructions:
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the cheese slices on an unbuttered side of each bread slice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook until golden and cheese is melted, turning once.
- Cut in half and enjoy!
