Are In-n-Out and Raising Cane’s coming to the UK? US fast food chains explain plans after viral TikTok claims
Rumours are circulating that two American fast food chains are coming to the UK.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is an American fast food restaurant chain founded in 1996.

Rumours on TikTok have claimed that Raising Cane’s is set to open a branch in Stratford, after a video was shared on TikTok purporting to announce the news to the delight of fans.
One person commented: “Oh my god this is real.”
Another added: “Oh my God PLEASE COME TO LEEDS.”
But unfortunately, it turns out that this news is false.
A statement from the brand reads: “As we expand across the globe, we are continually looking for global destinations and popular cities in which to open Raising Cane’s.
“We love the energy and excitement that Raising Cane’s has generated across the UK and look forward to introducing our brand to the region in the coming years.
“Any TikTok videos announcing Raising Cane’s coming to the UK or mentioning specific opening dates and locations are false and do not originate from our verified Cane’s account, @raisingcane.”
Similarly, over the weekend, rumors began circulating that burger chain In-N-Out Burger might be coming to London.
Four videos have been posted to the TikTok account @innoutburgercamden claiming that In-N-Out Burger is coming to Camden High Street, with the same menu as its American counterparts.
Viewers were delighted by the news, with one person commenting: “Yes, the best news for a Friday! When is the opening?”
Someone else wrote: “Oh my god yes!! Please open nationwide not just London!”
Another person said: “Oh my God, is this real?”
Another TikTok account suggested the food chain could have outlets in Westfield and the Brunswick Centre, both shopping malls in the capital.
But it turns out that In-N-Out has no plans to come to the UK.
A spokesperson said: “We are not affiliated with the TikTok account, which features our logo and the inaccurate message of opening a location or hosting a pop-up event in Camden, UK.
“This is probably a joke or a way to get attention online.”
Which American fast food chains are coming to the UK?
Several American fast food chains have revealed plans to open new stores in the UK.
After Dave’s Hot Chicken, Chick-fil-A and Popeyes, the latest American chain set to rival McDonald’s in Britain and Ireland is Carl’s Jr.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is known in the United States for its huge hot chicken sliders, tenders and bites.
The chain’s chicken comes in seven spice levels, from zero to extra spicy, the latter requiring a signed waiver because of its intense heat.
The company has announced plans to open 60 restaurants in the UK and Ireland.
The first restaurant is expected to open in London in the first quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, fried chicken restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has confirmed plans to open locations across the country.
Nando’s fans can get £10 off when they ‘order the EXACT same food from anywhere else on the menu’
FANS of iconic chicken restaurant Nando’s could save up to £10 on their final bill if they order a rarely used special part of the menu.
MoneySavingExpert’s Martin Lewis revealed that when browsing the Nando’s menu, a good place to start is the sharing platters section.
Larger families or groups will save the most, as the more food you want, the bigger the discounts in the sharing section.
For the biggest savings, opt for Nando’s largest and most expensive offering, the Family Platter.
It’ll set you back £55 as part of the sharing deal, but you’ll be able to feed up to six people with the two whole chickens and five large sides.
If you were to order this huge amount of food on its own, it would cost £31.90 for the chicken and £32.50 for the sides, meaning you’d have to find £64.40, or £9.40 more.
And what makes this meal even more delicious is that the chicken is already divided into equal quarters, meaning each person can have chicken and a side all to themselves.
The cost per person in a party of five is just £11 – much cheaper than most other meals on the menu.
The first store is scheduled to open in early 2025, followed by up to five over the next two years.
While the exact menu has yet to be confirmed by Chick-fil-A, the company has said it will be bringing popular dishes across the Atlantic.
These include the original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, freshly prepared salads and hand-breaded chicken nuggets served all day long.
Carl’s Jr. has more than 1,000 locations in the United States and 3,100 worldwide and offers an assortment of chicken dishes, burgers and breakfast sandwiches.
It already has restaurants in Spain, France, Denmark, Turkey and Switzerland.
The chain has now partnered with Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), which owns several franchises including Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Slim Chickens, to launch in the UK and Ireland.
Popeyes, an American fried chicken giant, launched in the UK in 2021.
It now has around fifty agencies and plans to open 15 more this year.
American burger chain Wendy’s, which already has 23 sites in the UK, will also open new outlets this year.
Shake Shack has 15 locations in the UK and last month announced plans to open its first ever train station restaurant in the country.
Earlier this year, Wingstop announced the opening of 15 additional restaurants, bringing the total number of locations to 54.
Lemon Pepper Holdings, which manages the fast food chain’s UK portfolio, said the move would create up to 750 jobs.
