As the Dallas Cowboys host the Jets in their home opener, AT&T Stadium adds 9 new dining options to the menu

Macaroni and cheese might not seem like the quintessential football stadium food, but it’s been a staple at Dallas Cowboys games for years. The list of new concession items that will be sold at football games at AT&T Stadium in 2023 includes cheesy delights: brisket and mac and cheese in a bowl ($16.50), topped with jalapeños and barbecue sauce ; and brisket mac and cheese balls ($13.25), breaded in Fritos Bar-BQ and fried.

There’s a lot of Texas in these two bites.

Mac and cheese makes a third appearance in the new Lineman Burrito ($25). It’s a 17-inch-long tortilla stuffed with macaroni, brisket, jalapeño-pepperjack sausage, pico de gallo and candied jalapeños.

Three of concession company Legends Hospitality’s new products are hot dogs, a stadium mainstay. The BBQ Dog is topped with brisket, fried onions, candied jalapeños and barbecue sauce. The BLT Dog has a long piece of bacon nestled in the bun with a toss of lettuce and slices of tomato. And the NY Onion Dog features grilled onions and pico de gallo.

We wonder: Will Jets fans feel comfortable at the home opener on September 17, 2023, with a hot dog from their home state? Each hot dog costs $9 for a regular size and $14 for a jumbo.

Unlike its baseball neighbor, Globe Life Field, AT&T’s concessions are rarely fancy. Cowboy food is not particularly heavy, long, or bulky, although several can be shared.

One of the new concession items is a simple turkey sandwich ($18) with a burst of bacon aioli, avocado and bacon jam.

Football fans who want a bite of Mexican influence can turn to the new birria quesadilla ($25) stuffed with beef, pepperjack and Oaxacan cheeses, or the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos elote ($8).

The stadium will bring back fan favorites like the Cowboys cheesesteak and a menu of plant-based options available since 2021 through a partnership with Paul Quinn College in Dallas. Meatless options include Buffalo “chicken” nachos; tater tots loaded with plant-based chicken; and a vegetarian burger.

New concession items will be available on September 17, 2023 and will be sold throughout the 2023 Dallas Cowboys season at AT&T Stadium.
