Food places in Joo Chiat and Katong are a mixture of traditional and modern. To walk along the main street, and you will find June Coffee, a new brunch cafe with matcha latte and honey ricotta French toast. And if you walk furtheryou can find old fashioned places such as Joo Chiat Place Frit Kway Teow. The cafe is famous for its Joo Chiat Laksa ($24)which sees pasta dipped in their homemade laksa broth, then generously topped with tiger prawns, mussels, crispy breaded fish and more! They say that noodles are al dente, soaking Pour in the flavorful broth.
Another strong point is their Har Cheong Gai Sando ($16). This fragrant sandwich features shrimp paste chicken that has been marinated for 12 hours before being fried. for this ultra crispy texture. A homemade mango vinaigrette is then drizzled before being served.

Finish your meal with desserts! Their Spectacular ($8.50) the croffle is garnished with whipped cream, biscoff crumbs and a drizzle of speculoos. If you like to pair your toasted treat with ice cream, get it Classic ($6.50) then add $4.50 for a scoop on their Cookie Monster ice. FYI, there are other flavors to choose from!

Many customers also like to order their cakes, and we can see why. Their wide selection of cakes includes our favorite flavors such as Yam Orh-Nee ($8.50). This taro infused the cake has homemade yam paste between the cake layers, then topped with coconut cream.
Their Black sesame ($8.50) is another crowd pleaser. This one there is black sesame in everything: Since black sesame sponge cake to their caramelized black sesame cream, and even toasted black sesame seeds as a finishing touch.

The cafe is located along Joo Chiat Roadand the nearest train station is Eunos MRT Station. The friendly café is well lit, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition, the wooden chairs and tables add a touch of simplicity reminiscent of many Japanese cafes in Singapore.
