Max Good

Max Good is the man responsible for finding the best products for the Equipment Reviews section of AmazingRibs.com and is the only man in the world who tests grills and smokers for a living. Max loves barbecue so much that he bottled his barbecue recipes and now sells all-natural Black Swan Premium Sauces worldwide. Barbecue wasn’t his first career. Drawing on what he learned at the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Dana School of Music, he edited the 1991 Academy Award-nominated documentary, “The Mark of the Maker,” as well as the short film, “Universal Hotel,” which is part of a permanent exhibition at the Dachau Memorial Museum.
