P-THREE, the specialist property agency and consultancy, has announced high-profile retail and restaurant signings on behalf of Aquila Holdings, the owner of a high-end retail and leisure destination in Chelmsford .
Among the new entrants to join Bond Street is home and body cosmetics company, Rituals, which is due to open a 3,500 square foot unit in early September. Offering a range of luxurious yet affordable bath, body and home products, Rituals will extend the home and beauty offering to Bond Street, joining brands such as The White Company and L’Occitane.
Mint Velvet, the British womenswear brand specializing in effortless luxury and casual glamour, recently launched in August. Occupying a 4,300 square foot store, the store offers an array of wardrobe essentials. Rounding out the trio of retail outlets is on-trend jewelry brand Accessorize in a 1,680-square-foot unit slated to open in September.
Inspirational Indian street food brand Mowgli is Bond Street Chelmsford’s latest signature F&B with a 3,150 square foot restaurant seating 86 and 1,000 square feet and 46 seats of dedicated outdoor space. The Authentic Dining Experience, founded by Nisha Katona, is set to open this winter and is part of the brand’s UK expansion plans.
Raquel Sanchez-Diaz, Director of P-THREE, commented: “Rituals, Mint Velvet, Accessorize and exciting dining brand Mowgli, all flocking to Bond Street – soon after the regional debuts of four retailers with similar aspirations – is a great indication of how well the destination is performing as the region’s upscale shopping and leisure destination. Bond Street has built its range to meet this demand, and that’s why high-end brands do so well here.
Dominic Chambers, Managing Director of Aquila Holdings, said: “Bond Street is home to high-end retail in Chelmsford and we are delighted to announce these new rentals so soon after the openings of Charles Tyrwhitt, Sweaty Betty and Leon. Rental demand has been excellent and demonstrates Chelmsford’s resilience as a leading commercial city.
Penny Grivea, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Rituals, added: “Living in these fast-paced and ever-changing times, we understand more than ever the need to create moments of joy and feel balanced in our daily life. The new Bond Street store will help customers achieve a sense of well-being by finding the perfect products that will help them balance body, mind and soul. This opening marks an exciting time for the brand in developing our retail presence across the UK.
The new brands will rub shoulders with Oliver Bonas, Goldsmiths, Hotel Chocolat, TAG Heuer and Everyman Cinema and many more.
