Below Deck star and celebrity chef Marcos Spaziani opened up about the possibility of returning to Below Deck in an exclusive interview with Dexerto.

Bravo fans may recognize celebrity chef Marcos Spaziani from his time on Below Deck. Although he only appeared on the popular reality show for one season, he became a fan favorite due to his laid-back personality and jaw-dropping dishes — not to mention a bloody head injury.

Spaziani has teamed up with celebrity chef Louis Huh to open a brand new restaurant in Beverly Hills, aptly named “Lou’Mar.” The restaurant combines the cuisine of Venezuela, Spaziani’s home country, and Korea, with Chef Louis being Korean-American.

“I would go back (to work on boats),” he told us. “I love sailing. I love the ocean. You know, I’m a surfer. I’ve been in the ocean my whole life. Yes, definitely, I would come back to have fun. You’re around a lot of people, but they’re not the people you want to be with.

“Are you going back below deck?” It will not happen. It’s too risky for my career. It’s a reality TV show that I came out of very clean, but next year it could be the other way around. So, activity will be affected. »

Chef Louis also came up with a fun idea for another show, suggesting the duo could rent a sailboat to travel and cook together.

“You know what would be fun?” he asked. “Instead of going back below deck, I think what would be more amazing would be if we had our own sailboat and were like, ‘Hey, come sail with us!’ With chef Marcos in the kitchen!

Looks like these two have big ideas in store as they prepare to take on the crowds of Beverly Hills. The duo confirmed that Lou’Mar will be reservations only, so fans will need to make sure to book in advance on Open Table if they want to experience it for themselves.
