Chocolate Iguana is back! Now open in North Tucson
The last few years have been a whirlwind of emotions for fans of the Chocolate Iguanabut we have good news!
Long story short, in 2018, the candy and coffee shop announced that it was permanently closing its location at 500 N. Fourth Ave. — a space that Marci Conklin and her team had operated out of for 27 years. Then, we were thrilled to learn that they were moving a few doors down on Fourth Avenue (431 N. Fourth Ave.). However, just a few years ago, Chocolate Iguana closed that location and The Jewel Cafe & Juice Bar has since moved in.
Today, Chocolate Iguana is open again in north Tucson at 7250 N. La Cholla Blvd. #186.

The brand new location is open daily from 7am to 2pm. They are located next to Albertsons grocery store and within walking distance of Mosaic Coffee Back.
This is a great way to rise and shine and start your day as they open early at 7am.
There are plenty of sweets to choose from on the shelves if you’re looking for a sugar rush, but the menu also offers coffee drinks, tea, Italian sodas, toasted bagels, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and something that will perk up just about everyone: the Churro cheesecake. This treat also comes with caramel drizzled on top.

Breakfast
- Toasted Bagel – add cream cheese, peanut butter, almond butter or butter and jam
- Breakfast sandwich – choose between a bagel or croissant, served with an egg and your choice of cheddar, provolone or Swiss cheese (add bacon, ham or sausage)
- Yogurt and granola
- Seasonal fruit bowl
- Avocado Toast
- Croissant – with butter and jam
- Acai bowl – garnished with granola and seasonal fruits, flaked almonds and drizzled with hazelnut sauce
