Chuck Schumer Roasted in Failed Father’s Day Grill Photo
Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) had a barbecue on Father’s Day when he posted a photo of himself grilling burgers and dogs – the beating was so bad that the Senate majority leader ultimately deleted the post.
Interestingly, Schumer wore a t-shirt to give off the vibe of a normal guy in acknowledging this special day, while choosing to draw attention to his gay daughter’s wedding.
He wrote in a tweet: “Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a garden and for the first time we are having a barbecue with hot dogs and burgers. the grill! Father’s Day heaven!

The optics were so bad that social media users concluded the whole thing was a set-up. After all, the burgers appear raw while the dogs show grill marks, there’s already cheese on one of the uncooked patties, and there are no signs of fire or smoke.
Here’s a quick sample of the responses to the now-deleted post that gives you an indication of why the Democratic leader decided to remove the post altogether, as seen on social media platform X:
Everyone makes fun of your fake grills but I’m more distracted by your man boobs… https://t.co/ZVfm7hobDM

Look how close we are to the common American! Look! We even put cheese on our raw pancakes! Look! Just like you!

“Sir, we need you to establish relationships with normal people”
“What do normal people do?” »
“I don’t know, put some cheese on that raw burger you literally just put down.”
“Great idea, look how normal I look.”

Dude, what are you doing with that cheese on a raw burger? How could a grill cook these hot dogs without doing anything to these patties? https://t.co/FqHAX6EeJj

Chuck Schumer is one of the most powerful men in America.
He has no idea how to perform basic male tasks, like manning a grill. Granted, he says he’s new here, but he’d bet good money that several of his family members and staff members saw this post before he posted it. Also, someone… pic.twitter.com/MSb4nFD3sb

Why is this meat so gray? Is this grill even on?!
I don’t see any flames, smoke or signs of ignition. I think they grilled some shit, threw it on a grill and told him to stand in front of it.– Mr. Joshua (@MrJoshua3577) June 17, 2024
Isn’t he Jewish? Why does he put cheese on meat?
Why does he put it on the raw, uncooked patty before turning it over?
Not kosher.

This is all so staged that it shines. I wouldn’t be surprised if his car was waiting just out of frame. They took the photo, looked at each other, nodded and said, “Understood?” How’s it going ? then he turned and left.
