Costco is selling a new high-protein breakfast product
We’ve heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day our entire lives, but it turns out that saying doesn’t refer to everything you eat in the morning. Sure, a bowl of nostalgic, colorful, and sugary cereal might do the trick in terms of taste, but an hour or two later, you’ll likely find yourself floundering due to the lack of protein in your morning meal. But you also don’t have to settle for grilled chicken breast if you want to get your protein fix in the morning, and you don’t have to be a chef, either. That’s because Costco is selling a new protein-packed breakfast that has the nostalgic flavor you love, but packs enough energy to keep you going until lunchtime.

Instagrammer CostcoHotFinds shared this new addition to Costco stores on Instagram. Premier Protein’s frozen pancakes are now available at stores across the Midwest, and if you love starting your morning with a stack of fluffy pancakes but would like them to be more nutritionally substantial, then this is the breakfast you’ve been waiting for.
Each box of Premier Protein Pancakes contains 36 pancakes, divided into 3-pancake servings, and retails for $12.99. A serving contains 15 grams of protein, and that’s without any toppings. Add a little almond butter, peanut butter, or Greek yogurt, and you can boost those macros even more.
Unlike homemade pancakes, which are simple to make but take forever to cook (unless you have a giant griddle), these frozen protein pancakes are ready in just 80 seconds. That means they’re perfect for weekday mornings, both for you and the kids.
CostcoHotFinds says these pancakes are “fluffy, light, slightly sweet, and delicious.” Some reviewers mentioned that they’ve also been able to find these protein-packed pancakes at Sam’s Club and Walmart. So if you’re not in the Midwest or don’t have a Costco membership, you may not be out of luck.
But if you can’t find them in stores, don’t worry. You can always make a batch of Martha Stewart Protein Pancakes on the weekend and store them in the freezer for quick microwave time on busy mornings.
