In an interview with Times of India, Sidhartha Mallya praised Deepika for speaking out about her struggle with mental health and raising awareness about it. In his words:
“I think the work she and everyone is doing in India is incredible. There simply aren’t enough people talking about mental health. The fact that people like her are using their platforms to promote mental health is very inspiring, and I think the more people we can get talking about mental health – whether it’s writing books, celebrities or simply from the local level or from teachers who talk about it at school. to children or families who talk about it – it’s better for everyone.
On the personal front, Deepika Padukone is married to actor Ranveer Singh and Sidhartha Mallya will soon get hitched to his lady love, Jasmine.
