“At Jalapeños Grill, I felt like I was transported to another place, the restaurant is set up so authentically. They specialize in delicious food using fresh ingredients and all prepared by hand. I got to try some food, which was very impressive. They serve margarita flights that are so fun and tasty. Diego said they have a wide selection of premium tequila and spirits. The space is large, with one floor and one ground floor, accommodating large groups. It’s right next to the Mammoth site and muy bueno!”
Jalapeños Grill in Hot Springs, offers an immersive experience that transports you straight to Mexico. Operated by Diego Morales, this restaurant is the second branch after the successful launch of the first Jalapeños Grill in Hill City, Kansas.
Jalapeños Grill’s journey began seven years ago, fueled by a dream and the chance discovery of their current location thanks to a random suggestion from a customer.
The atmosphere and authenticity
Upon entering Jalapeños Grill, you are immediately struck by the vibrant and authentic Mexican atmosphere. The decor is carefully selected with items imported directly from Mexico, creating a welcoming and authentic environment.
This authenticity extends beyond the aesthetic to include the staff, predominantly Mexican, and the traditional Mexican customs observed within the restaurant.

Signature dishes
When asked what his favorite dish is, Diego has difficulty choosing but mentions Carne asada as his favorite dish. This dish features grilled beef steak with grilled onions, complemented by a fresh guacamole salad, pico de gallo, rice and beans.
