Girl Scouts withdrawing two cookie flavors after the 2025 season
The Scout Girl cookie season is launching this week. But it will be your last chance to hang two retired cookie flavors.
Straight Arrow News
- Brew Coffee Bar in Matawan has frozen-flavored slats like adventures (fudge, caramel and sea salt), samoas / caramel delites, tagongs, toast-yay! and fine mints.
- Apple Street Kitchen in Exeter in Shrewsbury made a cheese cake thin in a crust inspired by the locust pie.
Scout cookies are delicious when consumed directly from the packaging, tagalongs filled with peanut butter and do-si-dos with citrus silts and fine chocolate mints.
But during the cookie season (generally from January to April), restaurants and cafes are full of local troop cookies and reinvent them in drinks and desserts, or transform the combinations of cookies flavors into their own treats.
Here are some to try before the end of the cookie season.
Jersey Freeze, Canton of Freehold and Holmdel
Jersey Freeze has been making her milkshake inspired by mint for almost a decade.
The Shake, served in a cup lined with mint marshmallow, is made with vanilla ice cream and ice cream and fine mint and garnished with homemade whipped cream, cookies and more net.
A vanilla shaken with crushed lemonade cookies and a lemon marshmallow is also available, and milkshakes inspired by Toast-Yay! (with French toast flavors) and caramel cookies (also called Samoas) will soon be on the menu.
Milkshakes of Scout Girl cookies are also served at Burger 25: vanilla with toast! Or the Samoas and chocolate chocolate chips with fine mint cookies.

Offshore Coffee Co., Long Branch and Belmar
Coffee obtains the treatment of Girl Scout cookies at Offshore Coffee Co., which serves icy slats inspired by the flavors of Samoas and Tagalongs
Drinks are delivered with chocolate syrup, peanut butter or cold coconut mousse infusions and cookies.
Brew Coffee Bar in Matawan also pays drinks flavored by cookies. The shop has frozen-flavored slats like adventures (fudge, caramel and sea salt), samoas / caramel, tagalongs, toast-yay! and fine mints.

Confections of A Rockstar, Asbury Park
This Asbury Park bakery is taking over the flavors of two scout cookies – thin mint and samoas – in French macaroons.
One is a chocolate merentue, a garnish of mint, and the other is made of grilled coconut, caramel and chocolate.
Go: 550 Cookman Ave., Asbury Park; 732-455-3510, confectionsofarockstar.com.
CONEY WAFFLE, several locations
The scouts on the shore of Jersey have challenged four restaurants, markets and dessert stores to create treats inspired by cookies for its topcookie competition, which collects funds for the organization thanks to the sale of desserts in March.
CONEY WAFFLE, which has four locations open to shore at the moment, has created an ice cream inspired by the flavors of Toast-Yay! Cookie available in a cone, a cup, a milkshake or on a waffle. The World Livoti market, with half a dozen shore sites, has made a lemon shortbread cake with lemonade cookies; Bang Cookies in Ocean Township has created a cookie inspired by caramel with grilled coconut flakes, caramel and dark chocolate; And Apple Street Kitchen at DE EXER at Shrewsbury made a cheese cake in a crust inspired by the grasshopper pie.
