Easy Bolognese Sausage Recipe Takes Five Minutes to Make
No one wants to come home after a hard day at work and spend hours working in the kitchen preparing dinner.
But it’s possible to whip up a tasty meal in no time. This week why not try BBC Good Food’s Quick Sausage Bolognese?
The BBC Good Food team said: “Pasta, sauce and sausages, what could be a better combination? Sausage meat adds great flavor to a simple dish. »
This recipe serves four people and is therefore perfect for a family dinner. But quantities can easily be halved or doubled depending on the size of the group.
It’s a two-step recipe that takes just five minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook, so you won’t be stuck in the kitchen for long. Plus, there are very few ingredients, which means it won’t break the bank.
Method
1. Heat a large, wide frying pan. Without adding oil to the pan, crumble the sausage meat and fennel seeds into it. Fry for a few minutes until the sausages are browned and the fat is released. Make sure to mix well to break up the meat. Add the mushrooms and fry for a few more minutes until they start to soften. If using wine, stir it in and boil for a minute. Then pour in the tomato sauce and heat until it boils.
2. At the same time, boil the penne. When cooked to your liking, drain the pasta and pour it into the tomato sauce. Mix well until the sausages and pasta are completely coated. Prepare the pasta for you and your guests and finish with a sprinkle of parmesan.
If you’re hungry, serve it with a salad, garlic bread, or pieces of crusty bread to sop up the sauce.
