What is tiramisu?
Tiramisu is an Italian dessert that is beloved for its distinctive coffee flavor. This sweet treat features ladyfingers dipped in a coffee mixture and topped with mascarpone cheese. The result is a divine dessert that has won fans around the world. For the finishing touch, cocoa powder is sprinkled on top, enhancing its overall presentation. It is a great choice to serve at family gatherings and special occasions.
Does this version have a similar flavor to regular tiramisu?
The answer is yes! You’ll be surprised how similar this version is to the traditional one. Instead of ladyfingers, multigrain bread is used, which provides a similar crunchy texture. The bread is topped with a sweet cream made with mascarpone, which gives the tiramisu its signature creamy texture. Overall, you won’t notice much difference in this healthier, guilt-free version.
