Fast food fans are in for a treat as a major US chain announces it will open in Ireland this year
IRISH fast food fans are about to go crazy as a major US chain has hinted at opening an Irish restaurant – and it could happen sooner than we think.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers fans have been excited in recent days as brand new social media pages have been created claiming to be for a new Irish restaurant.
The fast food chain is famous for its chicken finger dishes and unique dipping sauce – and now it appears to have confirmed it is set to open an Irish location in Dublin.
A new TikTok page @rasingcanesdublin has appeared on social media and shared a video with the exciting news.
In the video, the account wrote: “Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is coming to Dublin, Ireland.
“Available in December.”
The video is captioned: “We are proud to announce that Raising Cane’s will be coming to Dublin, Ireland in December of this year.”
They also shared a second video on the TikTok page, writing: “See you soon.”
Both videos feature delicious chicken finger dishes, which are notoriously the only option on their menu.
The restaurant offers a range of dishes featuring their chicken fingers that you can pair with sides like crinkle cut chips, Texas toast, coleslaw and their own dipping sauce.
You can also order huge boxes containing up to 75 chicken fingers to share at parties or events.
You can even get a chicken burger made with, of course, chicken fingers.
Their restaurants across the US have impressive interiors with 200 disco balls hanging from the ceiling of the restaurant in the Nashville store and they even sell merchandise such as clothing on site.
While the Times Square location in New York City has its own DJ who performs live for patrons.
The chain has been expanding rapidly in recent months and recently added five new locations across the United States in May, bringing its total to 800 locations worldwide.
These cities include New York and Michigan City, with more openings planned across the United States in the coming weeks.
In a statement made at the opening of the five new restaurants last month, they spoke about their global expansion.
They said: “We look forward to continuing our growth and bringing our delicious chicken finger dishes to more customers around the world.”
Fan reactions
Video teasers have got Irish fans of the fast food chain excited for the launch of the new product.
One person wrote: “PLEASE DON’T KIDDING.”
Another added: “This is too good to be true.”
Another wrote: “I NEED THIS, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND.”
