USA TODAY’s 10Best just released a ranking of the 10 best fast food burgers of 2024, and a classic fast food chain founded in Florida made the list.
“USA TODAY 10Best editors and a panel of burger enthusiasts decided to crown the top picks from these menus. Then, our readers voted on their favorites,” the ranking reads.
Burger King, founded in Jacksonville, Florida, ranks eighth in the ranking.
Here’s which Burger King burger made the list of the top 10 best fast food burgers in the United States and which fast food restaurants are Floridians’ favorites, according to critics.

What is the best fast food burger in the United States?
The Double Char burger from The Habit Burger Grill, a California-based fast food chain, took first place.
Burger King’s classic Whopper took eighth place.
“The world’s second-largest fast food chain introduced us to the Whopper in 1957,” the ranking states.
“Every year, Burger King sells more than two billion of these burgers, made with flame-grilled beef patties topped with tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, pickles, ketchup and sliced ​​onions, all on a sesame seed bun.”

A recent study by QR Code Generator ranked Floridians’ top fast food chains in the Sunshine State, based on reviews, and the results weren’t terribly surprising: Chick-Fil-A reigns supreme.
What’s a little surprising, however, is that one of Florida’s least favorite fast food chains was actually Burger King.
