Flying V Bar & Grill Menu Takes Flight at Loews Ventana Canyon (PHOTOS)

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort It is a sight to behold and the beauty that Chef Christian Padilla created in the kitchen at Flying V Bar and Grill is just as admirable.

“I’ve been cooking for 21 years now,” Padilla said. “I mostly cooked Italian food when I was in Seattle for about six years, and then I became a chef at a French restaurant where I started getting more interested in French cuisine. So I thought it would be a fun idea to give it a twist by incorporating Mexican flavors.”

About six months ago, Padilla began putting his own spin on the menu at Flying V Bar & Grill. In that time, he’s launched two different menus, both showcasing the Sonoran flavors he grew up with.

“I give it a fun twist in a more refined setting,” Padilla said. “More refreshing dishes, with bright colors.”
