Here are the best fast food restaurants in the United States

Del Taco has been named America’s best fast food chain, taking the title from Chick-fil-A.

The California-based Mexican fast food chain received the top spot on this year’s edition of USA Today’s “Best Fast Food Restaurants” list, which was decided by a reader vote.

The outlet highlighted the various food options, including its breakfast and plant-based menus, available at Del Taco as part of its ranking.

AMERICAN RESTAURANTS TOP FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Del Taco said in a statement to FOX Business that it was an “honor” to be named best fast food restaurant.

The chain did not make last year’s “Best Fast Food Restaurants” list.

Last year’s top-ranked Chick-fil-A was ranked No. 3 this year.

USA Today compiles its “Best Fast Food Restaurants” rankings through a process that involves editors choosing a select group of nominees for readers to vote on, he said.

The top 10 fast food chains featured in this year’s reader-ranked ranking include:

USA Today has released the 2024 list of “Best Fast Food Restaurants” as part of its broader annual 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Some of the biggest fast food brands like McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s, which were among the top 10 chains last year, were not included in this year’s ranking.
