The new season of the Food Network series “Holiday Baking Championship” continues this Monday, November 20 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
Those without cable can watch the show for free via Philo, FuboTV, or DirecTV Stream, each of which offers a free trial to new users.
“The search for the greatest holiday baker begins as eight amateur bakers show off their family traditions and superb baking skills,” according to FuboTV in a series description.
“To survive the week-to-week challenges, they must prove their abilities in front of tough judges,” he adds. “During the warm-up – the first of two rounds – the bakers are tasked with creating pastries, cookies or cupcakes based on the episode’s theme.”
“The winner of the round gets an advantage by advancing to the main round, which involves baking a larger confection,” FuboTV said. “The winner then advances to the next episode with the opportunity to win a cash prize and be crowned Holiday Baking Champion at the end.”
The season will consist of eight episodes and is hosted by Jesse Palmer with judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller, who will decide which baker wins the title and the $25,000 grand prize, according to Warner Bros. Discovery.
The new episode is called “The Characteristics of Thanksgiving” and in a description, FuboTV said: “Thanksgiving means food and football, so Jesse Palmer challenges bakers to create 7-layer holiday desserts inspired by his favorite snack . Next, the bakers compete in a Thanksgiving pie to convince judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller.
