‘I feel like I’m being washed with melted chocolate,’ says customer as Lush sells ‘luxurious Nutella-inspired’ shower gel
Attention all chocoholics! Lush is now offering a “Nutella-inspired” shower gel that is making consumers “obsessed.”
A woman posted a video explaining that it felt like she was “washing with melted chocolate” – in a good way.
On her account @thelushconnoisseur, which often reviews the brand’s products, she showed the gel in action.
She said: “Lush have created a shower gel inspired by Nutella.
“It is made from hazelnuts, milk and cocoa.
“It literally looks and smells exactly like Nutella.
“Wow, I’m in love. I’m just obsessed.”
“This looks so edible. Delicious.”
Lush’s ‘Posh Chocolate’ product is said to be ‘deliciously hydrating and softening’ and comes in a range of sizes.
On the Lush website or their app you can buy a 100g pot for £9, while their 225g alternative is £18.
The buyer added: “This is such a thick, luxurious shower gel.
“It feels like I’m washing myself with melted chocolate. It’s so creamy and soothing.”
“The scent is to die for.
“If you have friends or family members who love Nutella, this would be the perfect gift for them.
“I can still smell the chocolate now. It’s super sweet and delicious.”
“I’m going to finish my chocolate laundry with real Nutella. Bye!”
Lush’s website states: “This deliciously self-indulgent – and completely vegan – chocolate shower gel is packed with cocoa powder, hazelnut milk and Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera.” Vera gel, combining to soften your skin while leaving you smelling good enough to eat.
“Cocoa powder has a silky texture and a wonderfully sweet scent, while glycerin increases skin hydration, reducing signs of dryness.”
And it’s really easy to use.
“Simply take a good handful of the product and breathe in its rich cocoa aroma as you massage it all over your body, then rinse.”
Many Lush fans seemed desperate instant up to the limited edition product.
One of them said: “It looks so beautiful!” Good I can’t wait to try it!!”
Another added: “Wow I need this lol.”
And a third commented: “Looks like you’re wearing fake tan.”
