“We were making everything from pies to cookies to bread,” he told CNBC’s Make It.
Justin became really passionate after watching many cake baking videos on YouTube and started practicing and training in his kitchen.
“They actually did really well and I enjoyed that too,” he said.
After Justin, originally from New Jersey in the United States, finished his studies, he decided that university was not for him and decided to pursue his baking dream.

He started his business, Everything Just Baked, in 2021 and now sells bespoke cakes, for weddings and birthdays.
He also hired family members to help him in his business.
Her mother helps with shopping, food deliveries, and baking, her father does a lot of deliveries, her younger sister handles social media, and her older sister handles the graphic design of the website.
Justin’s smallest cakes, intended to feed 10-12 people, cost £125 and the most expensive cake he has ever sold cost £2,700.
The entrepreneur said people travel hours for his cakes and he even appeared on the Netflix show Is It Cake? where participants make realistic replicas of objects from cakes.
Justin bakes his cakes in a warehouse which he rents for around £1,500 a month.
He said the biggest costs of running his business are purchasing ingredients and the energy costs of using the commercial kitchen.
The baker, who earned £80,000 from his business in 2021, said he gets most of his customers through social media and word of mouth.
He added: “I’ve managed to create a loyal fan base, so I have a lot of loyal customers.”
Justin said he works “almost every day” and tries to take Mondays off to give himself a break.
