Joanna Gaines enters the holiday spirit!
THE Upper fixer Star has unveiled his family’s favorite Christmas candy recipes – including those from Cherry Mashers, as well as the white peppermint bark, among others – in an episode of his successful cooking show Magnolia table with Joanna Gaines.
Gaines, 43, sprang on sweet treats in an Instagram accelerated video of its candy making at home. “There is something so nostalgic and happy about cooking during the holiday season,” she wrote on her blog.
“Each year, my daughters and I camp in the kitchen for a full day – explode Christmas music – make and pack homemade candies for our family and friends,” she continued girls Ella Rose, 15, and Emmie Kay, 11. “Providing this delight box always makes these long hours in the time of the kitchen well spent.”
Sheaths, who is also a mother of son, Drake, 17, Duke, 13, and Crew, 3, encouraged her subscribers to try the recipes, many of whom are not cooked: “Making candy is a way to have your holiday season, but memories have made the way with your family and friends – they are the sweetest of all.”
This year’s selection of treats starts with a salty caramel peanut fragile, which, according to Gaines, is “a mixture of melted caramel melted and combined with salty peanuts and roasted honey and sprinkled with sea salt flakes”.

Then, a white peppermint bark on chocolate comes, before the hairstyles of Aunt Mary, which come from Gaines’s’s Magnolia painting, volume 2 Cookbook. Cherry packers are “a mixture of soft frosting combined with chopped cherries and peanuts, and soaked in the creamy chocolate almond bark.”

After that, Gaines included another recipe from her COokBook, known as Jo’s peanut butter balls. This recipe is made up of “cocoa krispies folded in a creamy peanut butter mixture and dipped in melted chocolate”.
“I may have eaten too many peanut butter balls,” she wrote on Instagram.
Gaines also included old -fashioned caramels, then concluded her list with homemade vanilla, which she created using a “grade vanilla pod placed in a quality vodka jar”. Since vanilla must be left at age before being used, it would make an excellent vacation gift that friends can enjoy all year round.

In a 2018 test, Gaines previously expressed his feeling for the maintenance of holiday traditions year after year.
“It is rare that I am enthusiastic about a new vacation recipe or fashionable ideas to decorate the tree,” she said at the time. “I am not looking for ways to reinvent this season. Instead, everything I want is to bring together the same ingredients for the same cinnamon buns that I cooked in Christmas morning as long as I remember.”
Gaines also explained that she adorns her tree with ornaments which commemorate important memories of her family’s life. Some of these children highlight his children, such as honoring their first Christmas and the first lost tooth.
“Our tree could never be complete without the children’s hand offers,” she said. “And while Popsicle’s bite image frames have cracked over the years and the photos in them have blurred, that only loves them even more.”
