Preparing the beet puree

Pour the batter into two greased nine-inch round cake pans or a similarly sized baking dish lined with parchment paper for easy removal.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
