Michigan Chocolate Factory Ranked Among Top 10 in Nation

HAMTRAMCK, MI – A Michigan chocolate maker has been ranked among the top 10 in the country.

Bon Bon Bon landed at #7 on USA Today’s list of the top 10 chocolate shops in the United States.

“This Hamtramck-based artisanal chocolate company creates candies with clever flavor combinations and eye-catching designs that look as delicious as they taste,” USA Today writes.

Bon Bon Bon founder and head chocolatier Alexandra Clark started the business 10 years ago in the back of a Coney Island restaurant.

Since then, she’s landed on Forbes’ “30 under 30” list as she and her chocolatiers craft more than 100 different varieties of custom, handmade chocolates with two locations in Detroit and one in Ann Arbor.

“In their work, the confectioners at Bon Bon Bon, affectionately known as ‘The Babes Babes Babes,’ apply classic French techniques with Detroit ingenuity and local ingredients to create these delights,” USA Today added.

And this month, Clark announced that she would be opening her first chocolate shop outside of Michigan, not counting pop-ups. The store will be located in Boston.
