Milwaukee needs most of any fast food chain, say readers

From very popular channels to acclaimed local spots, Milwaukee is home to many good places to eat.

However, like any city, some popular restaurants are missing. This can sound particularly true if you are a newcomer looking for a taste of the house – or a milwaukeean who discovered a new favorite on a trip.

We asked our readers of which fast food brand they think that Milwaukee needed and why. Our survey, open from February 27 to March 2, received 199 responses. A restaurant has decisively won, with more than six times the votes of any other.

Here is what restaurants the Milwaukeeans are hungry:

In-n-out Burger is the most desired fast food restaurant in Milwaukee

Burger based in California and Shake Spot In-N-out Burger won the most sought after Milwaukee fast food joint with 62 votes, nearly a third of the investigation responses.

Founded in 1948, in-n-out is known for its limited but famous menu with burgers, cheeseburgers, fries and shakes. The majority of its 400 locations are at the home of the California brand, with others in the West of the United States in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Texas and Utah. Many Readers of the Sentinel newspaper have congratulated the “Great-Tasting” and “Juicy” hamburgers from in-n-out, an affordable menu and “excellent service”.

“Taste, price, service. Everything about this place is of superior quality,” said a reader, Jason.

“The burgers have a great taste. Remember again after them after being in California 10 years ago,” said reader Connie.
