Miss India World Sini Shetty speaks candidly about her personal and professional life

As India prepares to host the 71st Miss World beauty pageant later this year after nearly three decades apart, current Miss India World titular Sini Shetty, who will represent the nation in this pageant year, got candid about many aspects of her personal and professional life in an interview with WION. She was joined by Karolina Bielawska, holder of the Miss World title, and Julia Morley, CEO and President of Miss World. The trio spoke about the dynamic nature of India and their expectations for the upcoming event later this year.

Just like all Indians love for street food, Miss India 2022 Sini Shetty has revealed that she is no different. Showing her love for the hugely popular Pani Puri, the 22-year-old beauty queen, from Karnataka, joked that you can never stop at a puchka – another name for pani puri. Furthermore, she also spoke candidly about various aspects of her life after stepping into the limelight. During the interview, the model and trained Bharatanatyam dancer shared how she was able to juggle different dance forms and her acting prospects after winning Miss India World 2022.

On favorite food

Calling Pani puri her favorite food, she laughed that her fellow winners hadn’t tasted street food yet. She also added that it should be in the top 5 since “nobody can stop at a puchka or a pani-puri”.

On learning different dance forms

Asked about lesser known things about her, Miss India World 2022 Sini Shetty humorously replied that “she is an open book”. However, she revealed how she can juggle different dance forms. Expanding further, she added that she learned more than 12 dance forms and if someone plays a track, she can start with Bharatanatyam and end with hip-hop.

Acting

Sini Shetty said that for now she is focused on something that awaits her in the next 3 months. But she described her willingness to explore the film industry, considered one of the biggest in India. She also shared how several Miss Worlds have taken the same path in the past and achieved professional success.

According to a YOU report, the trio, Karolina Bielawska, Julia Morley and Sini Shetty were spotted in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) facilitated by Finolex Industries and the Mukul Madhav Foundation at Sassoon General Hospital in Pune on Wednesday.

In a previous interview with YEARS, Speaking of India as the host country, Sini Shetty said, “I’m super excited. In fact, it takes place in my home country, India, where I host 140 sisters from all over the world as they experience and experience the magic of India.

Previous winners

Before Sini Shetty, many Karnataka beauties including Lara Dutta, Sarah Jane Dias and Sandhya Chib, Nafisa Joseph, Rekha Hande and Lymaraina D’Souza have already established themselves as well-known icons.

Taking place after 27 years, the prestigious international competition was last held in India in 1996.
