Cake balls may seem like an obvious alternative to cake pops when you’re craving mouthwatering, frosting-infused pieces of cake — but you don’t have any sticks to make the real deal. As @designeatrepeat pointed out in his December 2023 post about the unique treat, this method eliminates the annoying dipping step required by the process of making cake pops and cake balls. Somehow this step always seems complicated despite many clever tips for frosting cake pops floating around the internet.
