North Jersey readers make their choice

  • In the past four weeks, you have voted to name your favorite ice cream store in North Jersey.
  • The support winner is from the county of Morris and has been serving the region for almost 60 years.

The results are in ice lovers! The competition was whipped and cream, leaving Morris County Landmark Denville Dairy as champion of our confrontation of madness of the North Jersey ice cream.

In your opinion, the local legend is the tastiest of frozen sludge in the region.

For the many visitors who have seen the lines of the square, the staff army behind the counter or the take-out control system (to help organize hungry guests in an ordered crowd), however, this victory may not be the greatest surprise.

However, however, the regional favorite has been a destination for classic cult desserts since it opened its doors in the 1960s, and this recognition is a welcome wink to the multiple generations of the team’s excellence.

So lift a cone, eaters, to the (dairy) queen of the scene.

North Jersey’s best ice cream store; Do you think

Denville Dairy has been a family ice cream store that serves house spoons, soft and soft serveings and hand -made new products (think of gastronomic chipwichs, pendanous cups with peanut butter or decadent cakes) to northern jersey residents for over 50 years. Inside its old living room reminiscent excavations, customers savor fresh desserts of traditional recipes and imbued with notes of nostalgia. Visit by a hot summer night and watch the children engage in oversized balls of graham slam to marshmallow and vanilla vanilla whirlwind.

Then remember with emotion, of course, on post-Basball training days when you did the same.

Each hour of operation, the shopping freezes of the store are filled with approximately 28 spoon flavors on order, ranging from staples all year round, such as the Oreo cream, to special seasonal offers, such as the taste of caramel with pumpkin pantyhose of the autumn pumpkin. Sherbert, Italian Ice and Vegan Options are easily available, and premium toppings are always an option (including crunchy chocolate cake and roasted peanut butter sauce never fail to impress).

And, for those who do not want to devour a sundae each evening? The team even offers flavors of sugar and fat, so the weekend cones of Swiss chocolate can be offset by weekly cups of something healthy (ISH).

Denville’s dairy difference

“We are very proud of what we do,” said the fine family (who founded Denville Dairy in 1966 and remains the current owners). “You can taste the difference in all our products.”

This commitment to excellence, as well as the hot fudege which could thaw a glossy heart, is probably what influenced the votes of the public, because they clicked – week after week – to name the institution of desserts the best.

So, if you have not yet been arrested, fill this victory as a sign to capture your friends who come to sugar and direct you to a dripping, mixing and irresistible champions.
