‘Oh my God, what a concept!’ foodies rave after woman claims ‘best invention ever’ for ‘savory cereal’ recipe
Are CEREALS just for breakfast or can they be eaten at any meal?
It’s a topic that foodies love to disagree on, but one woman’s “savory cereal” recipe might be the way to enjoy food any time of day.
On TikTok, the cooking fan showed off her dinner, which she dubbed “savory cereal,” and the internet went crazy.
So what are salty cereals?
You can put just about anything in the dish, but the main thing is that everything is bite-sized.
In a large Yorkshire pudding, the gourmet added mini stuffing balls, potato lollipops, chicken lollipops and mini chicken Kiev.
“I’m going to drown them all in sauce,” the gourmet said before pouring gallons of thick sauce over the food.
“And the thing is, there’s an edible bowl,” she added.
Once covered in sauce, other foodies couldn’t believe how good the food was and many said they would make their own version at home.
The video quickly went viral online and currently has over 1.5 million views.
One person commented: “What a concept, oh my God!”
A second agreed: “This is the best invention ever, thank you.”
A third commented: “This is genius, how did a beige food connoisseur like me never think of this?
“You changed my life.”
And another one said: “Salty cereal?! Girl, you opened my eyes by eating this TONIGHT.”
“I will eat salty cereal for the rest of my life,” someone else wrote.
Meanwhile, others have suggested adding other bite-sized circular foods.
“I think it could benefit from some vegetables, peas are best as they are round, but maybe some carrot slices,” one said.

But the foodie disagreed, replying: “It would be nutritionally beneficial, yes, but sometimes a beige meal every now and then is good.”
Even Heinz stepped in to suggest a different version, commenting: “Beans, not gravy, please.”
