Reese Witherspoon is mourning the loss of her beloved family dog Hank after he passed away at the age of 14 this week.
The 48-year-old Oscar winner, who is reportedly dating Oliver Haarmann, shared an adorable photo of the chocolate lab on her porch as she paid tribute to him.
She wrote: “We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank.
“Thank you for being the best family pet and pack leader.”
The star’s children Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20 – who she shares with ex-husband Ryan Philippe – also shared poignant snaps with their late dog.

Ava wrote: “14 1/2 years of pure love and constant tail wagging. This was a ‘pet’ job and he excelled at it.
“Thank you Hanky for reminding us that every day is the best day of our lives.”
Deacon wrote: “The happiest dog that ever lived” on a post of himself cuddling Hank.
Reese is also mom to son Tennessee, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Toth, 54, a former talent agent from whom she split last year.
Reese is currently at the centre of allegations that she is dating German private equity financier Olivier Haarmann, 56.
She and Olivier were spotted out and about in New York last week, and DailyMail.com exclusively reported that they had been on several dates before.
However, a source noted that Reese is “taking things slow when it comes to dating,” adding that she is “friendly” with Olivier.
“She loves it but doesn’t want it to be her priority. She’s busy with her job and her son. Those are her biggest priorities,” the source told People.

Olivier is a founding partner of private equity investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners and was previously a senior partner at global investment firm KKR & Co.
He has two children with his ex-wife Mala Gaonkar, 54, who is now romantically involved with Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, 72.
Reese and Ryan married in 1999, just three months after the release of their teen drama Cruel Intentions, which also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair.
At the time of their marriage, Reese was already pregnant with Ava, and they welcomed Deacon in 2003 before divorcing in 2008.
In 2011, Reese married Jim Toth, who as an agent represented such high-profile names as Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.
They announced their separation in March 2023, just two days before celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary.
Insiders then claimed that rumors had been swirling for months that the marriage was on the verge of falling apart, via Page Six.
On April 1, it emerged that Reese had filed for divorce in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.
Reese and Jim’s lifestyles reportedly diverged as his Hollywood renaissance was wildly successful and he preferred more relaxation, according to People.
A source said Jim, who worked at CAA but left in 2019 to work at doomed streamer Quibi, was more “laid back” while Reese was “stubborn and focused.”

At the time of their wedding, Reese was already pregnant with her and Ryan’s daughter Ava, who celebrated her 24th birthday late last year.
Reese and Ryan are also friendly co-parents to 20-year-old son Deacon, who they were pictured celebrating his high school graduation with.
“They’ve been spending less and less time together while she’s been working,” one source said, while another claimed: “She’s involved in a lot of projects; he prefers less frenzy.”
Reese has an impressive list of projects in the works, not only as an actress but also as a producer – a role she has thrown herself into with enthusiasm.
Upcoming releases include a third season of her hit HBO series Big Little Lies, as well as a third film Legally Blonde.
