San Francisco Fried Chicken Restaurant Opens Super Duper Burger in Napa
The Bird, a fast-casual restaurant that bills itself as San Francisco’s favorite fried chicken joint, has teamed up with Super Duper Burger’s at Napa’s Bel Aire Plaza to offer its famous chicken sandwich in a delicious collaboration. Both restaurants are part of Adriano Paganini’s Back of the House restaurant group.
The sandwich ($10.25) features free-range chicken thigh, an Ethiopian berbere spice blend and gluten-free breading, topped with celery, house-made apple slaw, mayonnaise and pickles on a fresh-baked bun. Guests can opt for a spicy option using The Bird’s house-made Sriracha sauce. A healthier version of the sandwich is also available by substituting the grilled chicken or ordering the “naked bird” ($8) without the bun. 3900 Bel Aire Plaza D, Napa. Open 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
