Olympia Bed & Breakfast to Host First Annual Midsummer Music Market

Whether you’re a new visitor or a repeat customer, clear your calendar for July 13, 2024. That’s when Marie Bed & Breakfast kicks off its first annual Mid-Summer Music Market with an Afternoon incredible free, family entertainment. amusing.

At the Music Market, you will find many vendors from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be live music from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and food trucks for snacks or an early outdoor dinner. Almost Blue will take the stage from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Almost Blue is a talented ensemble specializing in performing jazz standards and blues classics. The Joe David Band will entertain from 5 p.m. at 6 p.m. They bring a soulful sound that fits perfectly with balmy summer evenings spent with friends and family.

During your visit, don’t forget to stroll through the Saturday Market in West Central Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With farm fresh produce and flowers, crafts, food trucks and activities for kids, it’s the perfect pairing. On July 13, they feature live music from Ham and Cheese Sandwich and Jess and Jer as well as a variety of local vendors.

Olympia B&B offers same-day reservations

Starting July 1, 2024, The Marie Bed & Breakfast will begin offering same-day reservations, with a cutoff time of 7 p.m. The in-laws show up unexpectedly? Are you painting your living room and want to avoid fumes? Need a recovery stay after your vacation? Are you leaving the kids at home with your partner for a while? Marie Bed & Breakfast in Olympia has you covered because their staff understands how chaotic summer can be.

Manager Emily Dunn says she has worked hard to find new ways to make each stay special, unique and stress-free. “We constantly get calls for same-day reservations, but because we do a gourmet breakfast and accommodate allergies or restrictions, we’ve had to turn them down in the past,” says Dunn. “Same-day reservations used to make it difficult to give guests the full experience, but that’s no longer the case and you can still enjoy homemade treats whenever you want.”

You can reserve your room(s), space permitting, online at their 123 Cushing Street NW location or by calling 360.915.8039. Their on-site refreshment center will also open on July 1st. This 24-hour location gives customers access to a microwave and refreshments whenever they want, Dunn says.

The refreshment bar will be stocked with sparkling water, fruit juices, tea, coffee and fresh seasonal homemade pastries.
