It is an international McDonald’s meal which has become viral “for all bad reasons”. And now, a second meal “Dunk” has joined the menu in the restaurants of the fast food giant in the Philippines.
Will they come to America? Here’s what you need to know.
McDonald’s Philippines offers cheese dunk, chili con carne dunk meal
In an Instagram post filled with Camas, McDonald’s Philippines presented the meal of Chile Con Carne Dunk. “Delighted to fire yourself,” writes McDonald’s. The meal in Chile joins the cheese dunk, which returned about two weeks ago.
Both meals add a cup of chili or cheese sauce for guests to dip their McDonald’s or fries hamburger.
Video of McDonald’s Philippines Cheese Dunk becomes viral, but for the right reasons?
In mid-February, McDonald’s Philippines shared a video announcing the return of Dunk cheese. The video has since become viral, with 29 million views and more than 3,000 comments. But it has become viral for bad reasons, according to Australian publication News.com.au.
Many comments complain about the appearance of the meal in the video. Here is a selection, slightly modified for capitalization and punctuation:
- “Why is this cheese lumpy? It is literally rude.”
- “Oh thank you, they brought this back. I love having explosive diarrhea or debilitating constipation with not between the two.”

Will Dunk McDonald’s meals come to the United States?
There was no McDonald’s word if one or the other meal will come to American restaurants. However, since McDonald’s restaurants in America do not serve as a spice, it seems unlikely that the meal of Chile Con Carne Dunk arrives on the American coast.

Dunk meals are not only McDonald’s items not available in the United States
McDonald’s tests Big Arch Burger on international markets, including Canada, with plans to deploy it worldwide in 2025. The hamburger uses three slices of white cheese and onion straws on two pancakes with its own sauce, different from Big Mac sauce.
The Grinch meal, also in McDonald’s Canada last Christmas, offered incompatible socks and pickles. The Happy Meal version for young people has offered Grinch and Max toys.
And fans of the 90s Sitcom “Friends” obtained their own meal in Spain.
What is the Happy Meal toy right now? Pokémon
The current Happy Meal theme of McDonald’s is Pokémon.
And until the end of March, Pokémon Go players can visit McDonald’s participants’ restaurants “to meet pokémon attracted by active lure modules and participate in five -star raids in McDonald’s gymnasiums”, according to a press release from McDonald’s.
