Wild Coast RAW recalls a lot of frozen boneless chicken formula for Crus pets for cats, because it has the potential to be contaminated by a very pathogenic H5N1 avian flu, also known as the bird flu. H5N1 can be transmitted to animals eating a contaminated product.

The affected lots are identified by a sticker on the cover with a number of # 22660, # 22653, # 22641, # 22639, # 22672 and # 22664 with a better purchase date of 12/25. The recall is extended to include any sharing of raw materials sharing production dates and similar lot codes that # 22660 and # 22664. These two lot codes were included in the WSDA public health alert on 2/14.
