The Top-Rated Chinese Restaurants in the Columbus Area According to Yelp
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A list presented by Yelp reveals some of residents’ top choices for Chinese food in the Columbus area.
Wild Ginger, located at 8591 Sancus Blvd., takes the top spot as the highest-rated Chinese restaurant in Columbus. near Polaris. The restaurant offers a variety of Chinese, Japanese and Thai appetizers, soups, salads, noodles, fried rice dishes and sushi. Reviewers praise Wild Ginger’s customer service and “delicious” food.
Kung Fu Noodle, located at 5225 Godown Road in The Gables neighborhood, comes in second. The restaurant serves kebabs, noodles, soup and fried rice. Yelpers rave about the restaurant’s “soft” and “authentic” hand-pulled noodles.
The third highest-rated Chinese restaurant in the Columbus area is Genghis Grill, located at 1865 N. Pearl St. in the East of High neighborhood. Known for its stir-fry bowls, the restaurant serves a variety of dishes from orange chicken to jambalaya.
“Fantastic service and a great variety of options and combinations,” one Yelp user wrote.
Coming in fourth place is Chuan Jiang Hao Zi, located at 496 Ackerman Road in Riverview. The restaurant serves a variety of Chinese dishes, including sesame chicken, vegetable spring rolls and hot and sour soup. Reviews praise the restaurant’s friendly service and “authentic” food.
The fifth highest-rated Chinese restaurant is Bamboo Garden Asian Kitchen, located at 556 W. Schrock Road in Westerville. The restaurant serves a variety of appetizers, noodle dishes, fried rice and soups. Reviewers praise the restaurant’s “affordable” prices and “tasty” dishes.
Sixth place goes to Xi Xia Chinese Cuisine, located at 1140 Kenny Center Mall in the Knolls West neighborhood. The restaurant offers a full menu of appetizers, noodles, rice bowls, fried rice, vegetable dishes and soups.
“Absolutely delicious food,” one review read. “The restaurant itself is nice, clean and has a good atmosphere. The service was excellent. And the food is legit, delicious, definitely some of the best Chinese food you can find in the city, and they serve dishes that are hard to find anywhere else.
Coming in seventh place was Chilispot, located at 1178 Kenny Center Mall in Knolls West. Known for its dry pots and spicy popcorn chicken, the restaurant is praised for its “huge” portions and friendly service.
The eighth highest-rated restaurant is NE Chinese Restaurant, located at 2620 N. High St. in Old North Columbus. The restaurant serves a variety of dumplings, fried rice, vegetable dishes and meat dishes. Reviews highlight the restaurant’s “interesting” flavors and “generous” portions.
In ninth place is Hunan King, located at 2048 Lockbourne Road in Innis Garden Village. The restaurant offers a full menu of appetizers, soups, fried rice, noodle dishes and meat dishes.
“Really solid Chinese food,” one Yelp user wrote. “Very good prices and friendly service. They are also incredibly fast.
Lei’s Asian Bistro, located at 2107 Polaris Pkwy, comes in at 10th place. Popular dishes at Lei’s include General Tso’s Tofu, Pad Thai and Pan-Fried Noodles. Yelp users praise the restaurant’s service, variety of vegetarian options and “generous” portions.
