This Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., try something new with Cheers & Biers at the German American Heritage Center & Museum at 712 W. 2nd St. in Davenport. The center is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an outdoor brewing demonstration, a homebrew tasting and a book signing with Michael McCarty and Kristen DeMarr, co-authors of Quad Cities Beer: A History.

While you’re here, visit the museum’s exhibits, including Beer Beyond Germany: History of Brewing, QC, located on the third floor. A $5 donation is suggested.

Shameless Chocoholic is hosting a pop-up shop event this Saturday from 11am-4pm. Head to 2248 State St. in Bettendorf to sample some amazing treats. Shameless Chocoholic will be featuring a special guest – “Fresh Flavors Salsa Company” who will be serving up their delicious salsa samples.

The Intertribal League of American Indians is hosting an event on Native American culture at the Colonel Davenport House this weekend.

The Colonel Davenport House, located at 1798 Hillman St. on the Rock Island Arsenal, is hosting a Native American cultural event this Saturday and Sunday starting at noon each day. The Intertribal League of American Indians invites the public to come out and enjoy performances and a chance to learn more about their culture.

A $5 admission fee will be charged to anyone over the age of 12. Enter through the Moline Gate to obtain an Arsenal Island Visitor Pass. A U.S. photo ID is required for anyone over the age of 18.

Bikinis at Circa 21

Bikinis runs at Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse through August 24.

The Bikini’s will perform July 10 through August 24 at the Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse at 1824 Third Ave., Rock Island. This Friday at 5:45 p.m., enjoy the ’60s girl group singing along the Jersey Shore. The show also features a live band on stage.

Performances are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets include a delicious meal and a pre-show performance of Bootlegger. Reservations can be made by calling the theater box office at 309-786-7733, ext. 2. Online reservations are not available.

The Bettendorf Americana Antique Swap, Auction and Car Show runs Thursday through Saturday at the Isle Casino in Bettendorf.

Beginning Thursday at 1 p.m. and ending Saturday at 10 p.m., the Bettendorf Americana, an antique swap meet, car show and antique auction, will be held at the Isle Casino in Bettendorf, 1777 Isle Parkway. The show is hosted by Rob Wolfe of American Pickers and promises to be a fun time for antique lovers.

The venue will feature classic cars and all sorts of antique treasures. Participation will support local students through vocational scholarships.

Admission is $10 for the entire weekend.
