Tim Hortons opens its first restaurant in Nashville. Here’s where and what to know about the popular Canadian chain
Nashville will soon welcome a Canadian favorite, Tim Hortons. On Friday, City Councilmember Jeff Gregg confirmed that a permit application has been filed for a new Tim Hortons at 2527 Lebanon Pike in Donelson, the former site of a Krystal burger chain.
The coffee shop chain, known for its coffee, doughnuts and other food items, is planning to open several more locations in Middle Tennessee. As previously reported by The Tennessean, a local business owner is planning to open several Tim Hortons locations in the area, starting with Mount Juliet. This is the first location announced in Nashville.
Naren Patel, owner and operator of 14 Golden Bear convenience stores in middle Tennessee, said the goal is to open 45 locations. Future locations include Lebanon, Gallatin and Spring Hill.
The arrival of Tim Hortons will contribute to the rapid growth of fast food in the Volunteer State. Tennessee is also expected to open several new fast food restaurants such as Raising Canes, In-N-Out Burger and Whataburger.
