Working Wife Shares the Chaotic Lunches Her Husband Makes Her Every Day

A teacher has gone viral after sharing some of the hilarious and questionable lunches her husband makes for her to take to work.

His interesting choices — from full bottles of barbecue sauce to a stick of butter to a diet soda in a Tupperware container — have people wondering what exactly goes through a man’s mind when he’s tasked with making lunches.

The wife revealed some of the most chaotic lunches her husband made for her.

Annie Hoskins, who works as a schoolteacher, shared on TikTok some of the funny choices her husband, Janson, made when packing her lunch for work.

“Today’s episode is about going through what my husband made me for lunch because it won’t fit in my fridge,” Annie said as she sat at her desk. “This is going to be a real headache.”

She pulled out a plastic bag and began examining its contents, which included a family-sized bag of pretzel chips, an entire container of Laughing Cow cheese, and a bottle of barbecue sauce (the lid wasn’t even on!). The lunch also contained a pretty orange, a Tupperware container full of melted butter, two pieces of skirt steak in a box, and an entire package of Kings Hawaiian rolls.

He even added a bottle of anti-nausea medication, as Annie hadn’t been feeling well lately.

Based on all the items thrown into the bag, Annie guessed that her husband wanted her to make her own sandwich using the buns, melted butter, steak, and barbecue sauce. The pretzel chips, cheese, and orange were supposed to be snacks.

“It’s not a bad lunch,” she concluded. “I didn’t need much, but I’m grateful.”

If you thought this was one of the weirdest lunches ever made, you’re in for a treat because it just got even better!

In another video, Annie was well aware she was in for a treat when she looked into the shopping bag and saw items tied together with zip ties.

The bag contained a Tupperware of noodles, a Tupperware of chicken biscuits, a Cutie orange, Fruit Gushers in a plastic bag, an entire container of iodized salt, a stick of butter, and a diet Dr Pepper poured from a Tupperware into a Ziploc bag.

And since it was the last day of school, Janson included a handwritten note in his lunch.

“Dear Ms. Mignonne, you have survived another year of school! I am so proud of you!” Janson wrote. “I am sad that this will be the last chaotic lunch at school until next year.”

Annie asked viewers whether she should start packing “Mr. Cute” lunches or allow him to continue packing his chaotic lunches next school year. Most urged Annie to continue allowing her husband to pack her lunches so they can continue to have fun.

“The whole stick of butter took me out,” one TikTok user commented.

“Your reactions and facial expressions are everything!” wrote another commenter.

“It’s nice of your husband to make your lunch AND clean out the fridge at the same time,” shared another user.

Other users expressed concern about Janson’s lunch-making skills and asked Annie if this was a running joke. Some even suggested that he purposely did a poor job of packing her lunches so that he could avoid packing them the following school year when she asked him to.

In a follow-up video, Annie clarified that she never asked her husband to make her lunch, and that he was simply doing it out of the goodness of his heart.

“We’ve been married for four years and he makes me lunch all the time,” she said. “When he left for work before me, I made him lunch every day.”

As for why her husband didn’t even bother to prepare the sandwich or the noodle dish, Annie claimed it was because she is a picky eater and is particularly particular about her food. As long as she has the ingredients, she prefers to compose her own meals according to her tastes.

She also called out “rude” commenters who assumed her husband had special needs because of the way he prepared his lunches and urged them to keep their opinions to themselves.

The important thing is that they like each other and are obviously able to joke together during these chaotic lunches.

And for those curious about how Janson builds lunch boxes for his wife, he shared a video so other husbands can take notes!
