Dave Portnoy pays the ‘belly checkup’ for Miss Peaches

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports continues to delight everyone with adorable videos of his rescue dog Miss Peaches. Before Portnoy gave this adorable girl her forever home, she came to the Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta, Georgia following a neglect case where she had missing patches of fur, skin problems, and obvious signs to have several small puppies.

Watching her transform under the love and care of her new owner is everything, and this adorable video of Portnoy having to pay the “Tummy Toll” when he walks past her is ridiculously cute.

The way she turns around and shows him her belly is just a sign that she trusts her new father so much!

If you turn up the volume, you probably heard that happy tail swish that is just the sweetest. Since adopting Miss Peaches on Valentine’s Day, people have been clamoring to see every video possible of this rescue dog adjusting to her new life.

Whenever you adopt a rescued puppy, even if you’re a social media star like Portnoy, it’s expected that your new dog will take some time to get used to his new environment. It’s important to be patient and remember the 3-3-3 rule, which basically means that the first three days are the time to decompress and get used to the new environment. After three weeks, the dog has learned his new routine and his personality begins to show. After three months, your dog knows he is House.

Between taking Miss Peaches on walks to meet new friends and giving her her first puppy cup, we’d say this adorable girl is adjusting just fine.

Miss Peaches is a charitable rock star

There’s always something absolutely wonderful when someone with a huge platform uses their powers for good, and Portnoy used everyone’s adoration for his precious daughter to raise money for the Lifeline Animal Project. Barstool Sports is now selling t-shirts and hoodies with 100% of the proceeds going to the organization.

Sweet Miss Peaches has already raised $277,000 for the Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta.

Considering so many shelters are underfunded, understaffed, in desperate need of volunteers, and overcrowded with so many cats and dogs in need of forever homes, donate a quarter of a million dollars to this refuge is simply amazing.

We hope this sweet girl and her generous dog dad will encourage people around the world to donate, volunteer, and adopt their own fur baby.

We hope Portnoy continues to release these videos because Miss Peaches is just too cute to resist.
