Food Vlogger Reviews Vistara’s ‘Inedible’ Meal Served During Flight; the airline responds | Trending news

Food vlogger Kripal Amanna recently rewatched the meal served to him on a Vistara flight from Bengaluru to New Delhi. Amanna said airline food reminded her of “the inedible meals served in a poorly run hostel by indifferent cooks.”

Sharing a photo of his non-vegetarian meal with chocolate dessert, the vlogger wrote: “Wow! @airvistara, your main meal on board UK820 this evening evoked a feeling of nostalgia! That of almost inedible meals served in a poorly run inn by indifferent cooks! Bland flavors, the kind of texture that would indicate the chicken should ideally have been eaten hours ago, and the chocolate dessert, perhaps inspired by a kindergarten cooking project. Amazing!” Amanna posted on X.

The scathing criticism from food vloggers has prompted airlines to respond. “Hello Kripal, all our meals are prepared keeping the highest quality standards in mind, and we are disheartened to see your disappointment,” Vistara replied.

The airlines also asked the vlogger to message them regarding his flight details and other information in order to “look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.”

The vloggers’ criticism caught the attention of the Internet, sparking several reactions. One slammed the airline and said, “This request is like SBI asking for 3 months for a print, which should take 2 days at best. He gave his flight details and you can see his name in the message, so it shouldn’t be easy to get his phone number from your records and call him.

Festive offer

“You ate chicken rice on your flight from Delhi to Bangalore on December 30 evening. I got sick for 4 days with a stomach infection…so save the lectures,” another user shared.
