Instead of ordering takeout or going to a friend’s house for dinner, the 53-year-old decided to take a look online to see if it was possible to cook salmon in the dishwasher.

She said: “It was more of a test to see if it would work.

“I was stressed at the time and wanted to make myself laugh a little.

“I first wrapped it twice in foil.

“My dishwasher was set to Heavy because I forgot to turn off that button, so it was way overcooked by the time I took it out.

“I didn’t really expect it to work, if I did it again I would use a shorter cycle.

Angie tried her dishwasher salmon recipe in February 2023, but shared the story online last week after thinking others might find her story amusing.

One commenter joked: “If you close your eyes, it’s pretty.”

Another said: “I bet even Oliver didn’t ask for more.” »

A third joked: “Please send me the recipe.”

Angie said: “The comments are hilarious – it’s really lifted my spirits!

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s to laugh at myself, there’s no point in being too serious, is there?”
