International Builders Show and Kitchen and Bath Industry Show to extend co-location agreement until 2030

LAS VEGAS, NV — The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announced an agreement to extend the co-location of the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. (KBIS) for four years until 2030.

In 2013, the initial agreement was announced by the NAHB and NKBA to co-locate IBS and KBIS under the banner of Design & Construction Week (DCW), beginning with the 2014 event held in Las Vegas. The co-hosted events have become the largest annual gathering of homebuilding and design industry professionals.

Growth and success

“Over the past decade, it has been incredible to see the incredible growth and success of Design & Construction Week,” said NAHB CEO. From 2027 to 2030, the two shows will continue to occupy separate rooms within the Las Vegas Convention Center, but a single pass will give registrants access to both exhibitions. The NKBA and NAHB will continue to produce separate educational programs and special events.

11 years together

DCW 2024, taking place this week in Las Vegas, marks the 11th year of the agreement. Both shows are expected to host more than 2,400 exhibitors, or more than 110,000 industry professionals, across more than 1 million net square feet of exhibit space.

IBS is the world’s largest annual lightweight construction exhibition. Builders, remodelers, developers and other industry professionals from more than 100 countries are on hand to discover the latest products and services from more than 1,800 exhibitors and attend more than 120 industry-leading training sessions, visit show homes showcasing the latest trends and innovations and networking with peers. Now in its 80th year, IBS is organized, produced and managed exclusively by NAHB.

Held annually for 60 years, KBIS is North America’s largest industry event dedicated to all aspects of kitchen and bath design. KBIS is an inspiring and interactive event showcasing the latest products, trends and technologies from over 670 exhibitors and nearly 100 educational sessions. Attendees include dealers, designers, architects, remodelers, wholesalers and custom builders to see KBIS, in collaboration with NKBA, is an interactive and inspiring platform that showcases the latest products, trends and technologies in the industry from hundreds of exhibitors. KBIS is owned by NKBA and produced by Emerald.

Looking forward

In 2025, DCW will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center, February 25-27. The 2026 event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. In 2027, DCW returns to Las Vegas where it will remain until 2030.
