Novo Asian Food Hall Announces Strip District Opening Date

A new food hall is opening in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. The Novo Asian Food Hall opens its doors this Friday. The 8,600 square foot food hall is located along Smallman Street, inside the terminal. It has a bar surrounded by seven Asian dining concepts. Our partners at the Trib provided this insight: Sumi’s Cakery is a Korean bakery known for its freshly baked bread, pastries, and over 11 cake flavors, including strawberry and green tea. Teachana serves a mix of tea flavors and bowls of ramen. Korea Garden 2 offers traditional dishes ranging from spicy kimchi – made with fermented vegetables, garlic, ginger and fish sauce – to savory bulgogi – thin slices of marinated meat, most often beef, grilled. Kung Fu Chicken is known for its seasoned fried chicken. Tan Lac Vien is a Vietnamese bistro offering authentic dishes featuring aromatic pho, a soup dish made with broth, rice noodles, herbs and meat; with savory banh mi, a street sandwich with pork, pickled vegetables and mayonnaise on a baguette. Mola will have handmade buns and tasty rice bowls. Lolo’s Kusina features Filipino cuisine including breakfast sandwiches, spring rolls and Shanghai Savory Lumpia, a type of spring roll with ground pork, sliced ​​onions, carrots and seasonings.
