Mount Dora just got a whole lot sweeter with the grand opening of OMG Coffee Excellence in its new location next to Stack’d Brownies in the Key Foods plaza. This collaboration brings two local favorites together under one roof. I mean, what goes better with coffee than sweet treats?

Some may remember that OMG Coffee Excellence had a grand opening at Lake Square Mall about six months ago, but let’s just say that location didn’t work out. However, she was able to quickly find a new home.

“At the Renninger Flea Market, where we started and still have a stand today, Stack’d Brownies took over the bakery portion,” said Philip Brown, owner of OMG Coffee. “So we already knew John (owner of Stack’d Brownies) and it made perfect sense for us to meet at that location as well.”

Although the new location is a bit smaller than the old one, Brown said he wants to get back to his roots and focus on what he does best: making the best cup of coffee.

“We roast our own proprietary coffees and are a wholesale distributor to many locations throughout Central Florida,” he said.

Brown owns OMG Coffee with Karen Smith, whom he met at the Renninger Flea Market.

OMG Coffee has not only become known for its iconic coffee blends, but also for its popular coffee shakes in flavors such as Strawberry Cheesecake, Mint Oreo, S’mores, Caramel Macchiato, Mocha Latte, Cake birthday, nut buddy and butterbeer.

It also offers a variety of breakfast foods, including its latest creation, the breakfast pancake sandwich. It includes two fluffy pancakes filled with sausage, egg and cheese, accompanied by syrup. OMS also offers breakfast sandwiches on New York bagels. The most popular is The Hammer: sweet deli ham, bacon, provolone cheese and OMG sauce.

There is also a choice of breakfast bowls, panini sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches and gourmet hot dogs.

Now, thanks to OMG’s recent partnership, customers can also get a Stack’d Brownie, a classic round brownie topped with all kinds of flavors for every sweet tooth. From Oreo to Peanut Butter Chips, Gummy Worms, Reece’s and more, there are literally dozens of flavors to choose from.
