As part of the ‘Hut to Heart’ initiative, employees at Pizza Hut on Great Northern Road collected donations and prepared more than 15 pizzas each day for homeless and vulnerable members of the community.
Employees at Pizza Hut on Great Northern Road have lost count of the number of smiling faces they have seen come through their doors in recent weeks.
Since late January, the restaurant chain has been offering free pizza to homeless and vulnerable community members as part of its “Hut to Heart” initiative.
The store’s new owners, Hardik and Himanshu Soni, oversee fundraising at their eight Pizza Hut restaurants in Ontario. The Sault location is the only one in northern Ontario.
