I’m 70 years old and I still look great in a bikini and crop top thanks to two popular snacks.

WE all want to age well and many of us try to make time at the gym and eat more nutritious meals whenever possible.

One woman appears to have found the fountain of youth, claiming it’s all down to completely cutting out sugar from her diet.

If you met Caroline Hartz, you would find it hard to believe that she has four grandchildren and is now in her 70s.

The Australian woman looks several decades younger and still boasts an enviable toned figure well into her golden years, which she proudly displays on Perth’s many beaches.

Ironically, her fitness journey didn’t begin until later in life, when a health issue changed everything.

At age 40, she was devastated to learn she had been diagnosed with prediabetes and was eager to change her life.

Anxious to restore her blood sugar levels, the grandmother decided to radically change her diet, giving up sweets and cookies for an entire year.

More than three decades later, the glamorous grandmother hasn’t looked back and adopted even healthier habits, like managing portion sizes and getting eight hours of sleep a night to stay in shape.

Even her skincare is impressive, with the Australian woman avoiding the sun as much as possible and wearing a layer of SPF under her makeup every day.

For those who want her bikini body, the older, athletic woman has a surprisingly simple, relatable routine News Au: “You have to be careful what you put in your mouth – that’s number one – and secondly, you have to move your legs. »

Refusing to let age slow her down, she even founded Sweet Life, which produces a product called Xylitol, and oversaw the business since she was 55.

Surprisingly, this came after her shock diagnosis, with the fitness fanatic admitting she missed certain treats after a while.

“At the end of that year, I looked healthy and my blood sugar levels were good. I didn’t have a problem anymore, but at that point I didn’t like living like that because I was depriving myself of all the things I loved,” she recalls.

Rather than overdoing it, she focused on changing elements of her favorite movie. recipes and removed sugar – which ultimately led to the creation of his business.

“I went back to all my favorite recipes, like lemon butter cake, jams, sauces, meringue – all those things I love – and changed what was in them so that they were sugar-free,” the entrepreneur told the press, adding that she too practices mindful eating to help her stay in shape.

She says it was the setback of quarantine that pushed her forward, adding: “I always told my three children that life wasn’t perfect. Not everything will turn out the way you want, but that’s okay.

“If you encounter a challenge or setback, stand up. Go again. Because it’s often the universe that pushes you in another direction. I firmly believe that one door closes and another opens.

We can’t wait to see what following a few years hold for this glamorous grandmother.
